It's been a long time, so we're not sure if anyone still checks this site, but we wanted to give a quick update. The heart doctor we've been seeing locally has been very happy with Mitchell's progress. The heart murmur that was due to the stretched pulmonary has decreased, and we hope it will continue. At this point, he'll continue to have check ups every 6 months, and when he's a little older, maybe 6, he'll have a test done to check flow, etc. Without seeing his scars, you'd never know he had any issues that threatened his life so early. He chases the dog around the back yard, and is a almost two years old already. He loves his little sister "Aunnie." We're sure they'll both be great older siblings to the baby due in October!
